Casita Blanca

The Casita Blanca is a single-story, white stucco Spanish Revival cottage featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Its floor plan is a simple rectangle measuring 35 by 50 feet, with a total gross area of 1,570 square feet, excluding the front porch. It fits comfortably on a 55- to 60-foot-wide lot. The layout emphasizes symmetry and axial relationships between windows and openings, creating a harmonious flow throughout the home. To maintain affordability, the design employs straightforward rectangular massing and a hipped roof. Simple yet charming details such as the espadaña gable, decorative roof vent, chimney cap, curved pony wall, eave brackets, and wrought-iron window rejas enrich the character of the house.

A covered front porch with arched openings provides a shaded outdoor gathering space. The garage is detached, and a secondary entrance through a side mudroom and laundry area offers convenient access for homeowners.
